Dn Angel, a manga by Yukiru Sugisaki, is about a not-so ordinary boy named Niwa Daisuke and his alter ego, Dark Mousy. When Daisuke sees his crush, Harada Risa, he transform into Dark. But if Dark sees HIS crush, Harada Riku, well...needless to say, he transform back into Daisuke. ~_~;; Overall, Dn Angel is a very cute, shounen-version of a magical girl story. ^_^

::Niwa Daisuke:: Daisuke is one of the 2 main characters in Dn Angel. He transformed into Dark during his 14th birthday while thinking about him and Harada Risa (he confronted her and told her he likes her).
::Dark Mousy:: Dark is the famous thief that existed even 40 years ago. He loves to tease Daisuke. Dark also has a crush...the twin sister of the person that Dai-chan likes. ^.^
::With:: With is the cute little bunny-lookalike that follows Daisuke around. He transform into a big black-winged creature when he's with Dark. With also has a habit of pronouncing Daisuke's name wrong...he says it "Daisuki". ^.^;;
::Hiwatari Satoshi:: Satoshi is the cutie in Dai-chan's class. He's the one with the glasses and is often found writing in a small notepad. He's a smart boy and heads the police team that's in charge of capturing Dark. It seems that Sat-chan's family has been trying to capture Dark for a long time.
::Harada Riku & Harada Risa:: Riku and Risa are twins, Riku being oldest with the short hair and Risa the younger with the longer hair. We do not know who Riku likes but it seems that Risa likes Dark (then again, who won't fall for this bishounen?). ^.^

Niwa Daisuke just turned 14 years old and has been rejected by the girl that he likes. After being rejected by his first love (technically it’s a crush since she never liked him), Risa, a series of strange events happen to Daisuke. First of all, he has been brought up in a very bizarre way. When he goes home, he has to pass a sequence of traps before being able to enter his own home. And these traps were tests created by his mother and grandfather. When he comes home, depressed because he had just been rejected, he closes himself in his room.
All of the sudden, a transformation occurs and his body becomes stronger, taller, and very handsome (but he was cute before too). His mother tells him that now he is Dark Mousy. Dark is a whole other personality, it’s like he borrows Daisuke’s body but makes him bigger too. And in order to transform back to his regular self, he would have to steal the Virgin Statue. Watching out and waiting to catch Dark is Satoshi, a very cold looking guy from Daisuke’s school. Later, Daisuke finds out that as long as he is still in love with Risa, his body is subject to change into Dark. His mom explains that Dark’s DNA reacts to his feelings of love. BTW, Risa is a twin. Her older twin sister is Riku.
So Daisuke likes Risa, and Dark likes Riku. How does this work out?? And what is the true meaning behind Dark?? And why is Ridu after Dark?? I guess I’ll have to wait to find out.
